The South Boston Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, built in 2005, consists of 164 guest rooms including 3 suites and is located 4.5 miles south of Boston Logan International Airport, approximately a 10-15 minute drive.

The Hotel offers shuttle service to and from Boston Logan International Airport for all guests for an additional fee. The shuttle also transfers to the nearest subway station, Andrew Square on the Red Line of the MBTA, so guests have easy access to other parts of the city. The shuttle service runs on a certain schedule. It departs from the hotel every half an hour from 6am - 10pm and every hour from 10pm - 6am. For all pick ups, guests have to call the hotel directly and a Guest Service Agent can assist further.

Straight out airport exit, take I-90 West Mass Pike (Toll Road), follow for 2.6 miles, merge onto I-93 South. Follow to Exit 18, Andrews Square. Stay straight and follow signs to Andrews Square. At 3rd light, South Bay Shopping Center will be on your right. Merge right onto Boston St. Hotel is third driveway on the right.

Everything was very good. Shuttle to air port went smooth. The return was a little more difficult. Just wished the shuttle cane more often. Our bags were taking long so we missed the first shuttle. The next one that came was around an hour.

The location was good. The staff were great. The room was comfortable. The shuttle service rating below was for the trip to the airport. That was great. On our return we ended up not taking the shuttle. Our flight was late. The shuttle would not be there for 35 to 45 minutes, so we took a taxi back to the hotel to retrieve our car.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the manager was accommodating, and the shuttle drivers were good. On the way back to our car after our trip, the shuttle's running board was broken and that made it difficult to enter and exit. The hotel charged $5 each way per person for the shuttle ride and charged for extras that are typically complementary like newpapers, etc. Paying for "Park, Sleep and Fly" as a package gives the idea that it is all inclusive. On another note, the restaurant did not offer gluten free options, which is important to us, and the manager needed to wait on us after I contacted her at the front desk, as the waitstaff was not present and we waited for quite a while for someone to show up at the counter. Overall we were disappointed with this Mariott. We typically stay at Mariott hotels and are Mariott Choice Rewards Members.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel is comfortable, but located in the middle of nowhere and a long drive to the airport. While the drivers were very friendly, it took a very, very long time to be picked up.
